Greetings! Here is another testimonial from a friend with a true heart. I appreciate everyone who enters my life. God has a reason for everyone and everything. Many times I do not always understand the visions or messages that God has for me to share with a person... but it is important for me to know that it is not my job to always understand but more importantly to interpret what God wants me too... We must be willing to have and open heart, mind and spirit to see the beauty that God lays before us! Peace! =)

"I have known Dave Adams for many years now and have come to respect and trust his counsel and his spiritual insight. On a professional level, he guided and encouraged me in my career and provided valuable advice that allowed me to be successful as an administrator. His knack for seeing straight through to the heart of an issue was extremely helpful to me I'm my position and allowed me to be more effective as a leader. It was obvious to me that Dave had a unique gift of insight and was able to understand people very well. Over time, I came to realize that this ability was actually pretty extraordinary and was without a doubt a gift from God. Dave's pureness of heart and desire to help others couples will with his outstanding gifts and makes him an excellent spiritual advisor; one who has no agenda except to help and comfort others.

On a personal level, Dave was able to give me messages from a dear friend who had died unexpectedly. I had a tremendous void in my life and in my heart as a result of my friend's passing. Dave gave me very specific information about my friend and relayed comforting messages from him that facilitated in the healing of my grief. The pain and loss I was experiencing was soothed when I learned that my friend still existed and still cared for me even though he was no longer in this three dimensional world. This was such a blessing in my life.

Dave was also able to verify a past-life memory for me. I have known the specifics of my most recent past life for sometime now. I know some of the people who shared that lifetime with me and I know how I died in that life. I don't often share that information with people so you can understand my surprise when Dave gave me details to that past life that were identical to my memories. This kind of insight is unusual for most of us, but for Dave, its as natural as breathing. He is truly a gifted advisor and counselor and it is a pleasure to know him and call him a friend."

When Doubt Creeps Upon you! =0

There are times when doubt has a creepy way of sneaking upon you.... It can act like a serpent and slowly inch and slither its way into your life without you even realizing it... We can easily become distracted and thrown off track if our guard is down... It is important to stay alert and keep our self protected from allowing doubt to take over our mind and lead us to a dead end on our spiritual journey. The next moment you start to feel the uncertainty and pull in the opposite direction... ask the spirit to guide you...There may be times when God allows doubt to enter our life to make sure we are following the right road on our spiritual walk. God gives us all the right tools to keep us on the straight and narrow. When doubt creeps upon you and leads you down a bummy road... put it in its correct place by allowing the spirit to lead!

Hello Again! The following is another testimonial of how the Spirit works! I am truly thankful for the gifts that God has given me... It is an honor and privilege to share these gifts to help others on their spiritual journey... If you would like to share your story please contact me.... Life takes us on many twists and turns, but knowing that we can help others with our gifts will keep us on the right path.....

"I have known David for about 15 years now but it was only in the past two years that I have been made aware of his unique spiritual gifts. We share the same faith in God and attend church together. David has shared with me about deceased loved ones that has been especially helpful to me. He told me with tears about my three lost children that we lost due to tubal pregnancy. He said that they were beautiful children and that I would one day see them again. Once about a year after my dad's death, I visited his grave and David communicated with me a message from my father at a very timely time when I really needed to hear it. Although I have to admit that initially I was kind of taken back by his insight, the message was comforting and healing. David also shared with me recently about an angel of Protection and Mercy at the recent death of my brother. He has also given me insight about my adoptive children and their parents. All of this information has been helpful to me, coupled with my own faith in God. I know that God gives certain gifts to His children and I believe that David's gifts are of our Lord and that he has been chosen to help others with his gift."

Greetings! From time to time I come across news related articles that I find helpful on my spiritual walk. God wants us to have a healthy mind, body and soul.... At times this is easier said then done... We come up with so many excuses of why we can't then for why we should! The following is an article that I have found helpful to better equip myself to have a positive outlook on life even when I do not feel like being very cheerful ... Sometimes what appears to be a negative attitude or thinking can actually be positive... Sincere Peace!

The Power of Negative Thinking
By Tim Jarvis
Cheer up. Be happy. Find the silver lining. Smile.

If you didn't know any better, you might say we're a country that preaches optimism. But some 30 to 35 percent of Americans employ a calculated form of negative thinking—called defensive pessimism—that can lead to very positive results, according to Julie K. Norem, PhD, a professor of psychology at Wellesley College.

We're not talking about a general disposition to see the glass half-empty: "Defensive pessimism is a strategy used in specific situations to manage anxiety, fear, and worry," says Norem, who has conducted seminal research on the subject. "Defensive pessimists," she says, "prepare for a situation by setting low expectations for themselves, then follow up with a very detailed assessment of everything that may go wrong." Once they've imagined the full range of bad outcomes, they start figuring out how they'll handle them, and that gives them a sense of control.

"What's intriguing about defensive pessimists," adds Lawrence Sanna, PhD, a professor of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who has also studied the phenomenon, "is that they tend to be very successful people, and so their low opinion of the outcome isn't realistic; they use it to motivate themselves to perform better." For example, an executive is getting ready to pitch a project, and she thinks beforehand, "The client is going to be really difficult; he's not going to like my proposal. I have to make sure I explain things very clearly." "She uses defensive pessimism as a tool to work through all the possibilities so she's prepared for everything, even failure," Sanna says. "And if she does fail, she's ready for it, so it's not so catastrophic."

If all this sounds familiar , a piece of advice from the experts may give you a lift: Don't listen to appeals from friends or family to look on the bright side. "Research shows that if you pressure defensive pessimists into being optimistic, or try to manipulate their mood, their performance deteriorates," says Andrew J. Elliot, PhD, professor of psychology at the University of Rochester. One of the most frequent comments Norem got after publishing The Positive Power of Negative Thinking in 2001 was "Thank you. I can finally tell my mother to shut up."

Dave Neal Adams will be at Endless Summer Tanning Inc. on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm for private 20 minute sessions/readings. Call 513-521-Tans for an appointment today!

"Little Terri"- sweet spirit - TESTIMONY REPOST!

Greetings to all of my Blog, Facebook and Twitter followers.... In the weeks to come I would like to share periodically with you some testimonials from those who have volunteered to share some unusual experiences. Many of these testimonies have been written by friends, acquaintances and clients that I have worked with over the years.... If you would like to share your story or contact me... please feel free to do so.... I would be more than happy to talk with you. My goal in life is to share my spiritual journey with you and to help those who are searching for answers in their life.... God gives each of us special spiritual gifts... I feel and know that God has given me gifts to help others who are searching for answers that will help guide them on their spiritual journey.

"As most people new to the world of physic phenomenon I had doubts as to its validity. Upon the purchase of my first home my partner and I were introduced to our new housemate--in unusual ways. Doors would open and close on their own, toys would disappear from our 3rd floor and end up on the 1st floor. When we tried to ignore these odd happenings they only appeared more frequently, progressing to dishes falling from shelves and my being tripped each morning at the same spot on the stairs. After getting to know our neighbor we discovered that they too had similar oddities when they had purchased their home. Their children had often played with an imaginary friend they called "Terri". Skeptics as well they decided to research the homes history and discovered that a small child named Terri had passed away in their 3rd floor attic many years ago. Now having confirmation we found that if we acknowledged Terri by speaking her name and leaving toys out for her enjoyment she was much less likely to play tricks with us. In fact she loved our dog so much that we could never take her photo without the distinct ghostly figure standing beside her. Since our homes were a mere 8 feet apart it appeared Terri liked to travel!

Years later my partner moved and I needed to find a housemate to share expenses. This is how I met Dave Adams, who was in search of a house to rent. Not wanting to scare away a potential renter I shared none of Terri's existence. Dave moved in, his bedroom on the 3rd floor, and things seemed to be going well. After a few weeks Terri welcomed Dave as well. Over dinner one evening Dave shared that some strange things were happening and he could see the presence of a small girl, who liked to play tricks on people and enjoyed playing with my dog. His ability to actually see this presence was validation that indeed these events were real. Now that I knew he had no fear of this phenomenon I eagerly shared the story of Terri. Dave's ability to see this little girl is a wonderful gift he is able to share with us all. Having experienced this personally I feel by sharing my story others will not fear these things but learn to embrace and cherish their existence. Dave, now a dear friend, is blessed with the ability to see, and share his gifts with us all. I have learned through Dave to feel blessed when these spirits choose to share their presence with us.

"HERE TODAY! GONE TOMORROW!" Have you ever really thought about the fact the our time here on earth in this body could be limited? We don't know the time or the place when our spirit will leave our body! Only God knows this answer... Over the years I have seen so many people allow themselves to worry about many situations that are completely out of their control... I have heard others and have caught myself saying .... "Never say Never... I wish I would have... Life is to short... Live life to its fullest.... You never know... Tomorrow is another day"... The list could go on and on and I sure you can think of a moment or two when used these same phrases... The fact of the matter is we need to learn how to live each day of our life as though it were our last....(another one =) ha!) There are so many precious moments in our life that we miss out on because we allow our self to worry about situations that we really have no power over... We must learn to remove our self from daily stresses by redirecting our focus to other things that make us happy... Many times God places objects or distractions in our way to take our focus off the overwhelming barriers that may come in our daily life. It is up to us to be on the lookout and to be open for the extras in life that could change our outlook dramatically. Take the time to look beyond the small surroundings that box you in on a daily basis.... Be thankful for the extra surprises that you overlook! How do you look at your life? Change your outlook! "Here today! Gone tomorrow!?!"

Guilt and Ego play important roles in our life.... If we allow our ego to guide us through our spiritual journey .... then we allow other negative energies such as guilt to play a crucial role in our daily walk.... Guilt has a way of ruling and weighing us down. If we take charge of our life and allow God and the Spirit to guide us then we put the ego in its proper place.... Guilt can wear us down and make us feel bad or unsure of every decision we ponder on in life.... The next time you start feeling guilty about the small or big things in your life... Step back and take a look... Who is in charge? ... The Spirit or your Ego! Focus and take time to meditate on God! .... Let God and His Spirit take the lead in your life... The ego has a sly way of taking charge... Always remember that you have the choice and power to put the ego in its place... Take the weight off and let the spirit renew your strength! =)

TESTIMONY! - The Woman in White! - REPOST!

Hello Again! The following is another testimony from a dear friend that I met over a year ago. I am very appreciative of those who come and go in my life. God has a reason for everything thing that happens as we walk this earth.... We must learn to cherish, enjoy and learn from every moment. You may never know what guests or other surprises will appear at a dinner party! =)

"During the past 16 years of living our home, which was built in 1904, numerous friends (especially house-sitters) and family members have witnessed various unusual sightings, sounds and/or smells in specific locations throughout the house. The primary experiences people described have focused around one (or both) of two human apparitions: a woman (who often was seen wearing a white gown and walking either in the 2nd-floor hall or on the 3rd floor) and a man (usually seen shaving in the 2nd-floor bathroom). Friends were often hesitant about telling me what they saw, especially if they'd never seen or experienced anything like it. Over time, though, the stories were nearly identical from more than a dozen people--and the narratives were related to me from each person without prior knowledge that anyone else had seen or experienced something very similar. The independent, analogous accounts gave enormous validity to the presence of these two resident ghosts; I actually regretted that I'd never seen either of them, despite having lived here so long.

When David was here for dinner one night, we were talking together in the dining room. In our conversation, I noticed that he occasionally would look over my shoulder and into the kitchen behind me. David, as it turns out, was distracted by the presence in the kitchen of the ghostly "woman in white" that had for many years been seen in the house. David not only, without prior knowledge, described her presence, but also gave extremely helpful information regarding the period of her residency when living--based largely on the clothing she was wearing. He also identified the approximate time-period of the "shaving man's" origin (which was several decades later than the "woman in white")--again, based on his clothing. It was interesting to know that these two individuals came from distinct periods of history.

A half-block from our house is an old church designed by the prominent regional architect Samuel Hannaford. David , on that same night, identified a mysterious hidden brick wall in the church's basement which apparently had for decades been plastered over. Several days later, a long-time resident of the neighborhood confirmed the presence of the wall that David had described; the neighbor had, as a boy, actually been part of a youth work crew assigned to cover the brick wall. Do you follow your INTUITION? =O

The following are definitions for the word Intuition... In many of my private sessions/readings I frequently am asked questions about words used to describe how I help others on their spiritual walk... Intuition (knowledge) is one of these words. I always try to share with those seeking that knowledge is power... The more a person learns and understands... The more they will have control over their life... God gives us many opportunities to learn and grow in knowledge... It is up to us to allow our Spirit to guide our intuition.. Do you follow your Intuition?

The term intuition is used to describe "thoughts and preferences that come to mind quickly and without much reflection".[1] "The word 'intuition' comes from the Latin word 'intueri', which is often roughly translated as meaning 'to look inside'’ or 'to contemplate'."[2] Intuition provides us with beliefs that we cannot necessarily justify. For this reason, it has been the subject of study in psychology, as well as a topic of interest in the supernatural. The "right brain" is popularly associated with intuitive processes such as aesthetic abilities.[3][4][5] Some scientists have contended that intuition is associated with innovation in scientific discovery.

Intuition and spirituality
Intuition is commonly discussed in writings of spiritual thought. Contextually, there is often an idea of a transcendent and more qualitative mind of one's spirit towards which a person strives, or towards which consciousness evolves. Typically, intuition is regarded as a conscious commonality between earthly knowledge and the higher spiritual knowledge[13] and appears as flashes of illumination.[14] It is asserted that by definition intuition cannot be judged by logical reasoning.[15]

Thomas Merton discussed variations of intuition in a series of essays. In describing aesthetic intuition he asserted that the artist has a subjective identification with an object that is both heightened and intensified and thereby "sees" the object's spiritual reality.[16] In discussing Zen meditation he asserted that a direct intuition is derived through a "struggle against conceptual knowledge." An end result is "the existent knows existence, or 'isness,' while completely losing sight of itself as a 'knowing subject.'"[17]

Rudolf Steiner postulated that intuition is the third of three stages of higher knowledge, coming after imagination and inspiration, and is characterized by a state of immediate and complete experience of, or even union with, the object of knowledge without loss of the subject's individual ego.[18]

The high value of intuition in the Sufi schemata is related by El Sayeed Idries Shah el-Hashimi el-Naqshbandi, Grand Sheikh of the Dervish Orders.[19]
